As I update my website and marketing copy that you’ve stumbled upon I have been racking my brain for what I want my firm to be.

I’ve been so proud of the work I’ve accomplished. I have helped many small businesses grow, understand what is going on in their business, and help them live better lives. But as I’ve been running the business for almost 3 years I really wanted to nail down what I wanted.

I want to help businesses. It is that simple. I have expertise with music school and lawyers and I love those clients. But a part of me still yearns to help the starting business the one who has no idea what to do.

Most business owners start and want to help the little guy and become jaded and go after the big fish. I’ve done some of that too, but I want to help the mom and pop. I don’t want to be pigeon holed with only 10 million dollar companies.

So that is why I’m adjusting my efforts. I am focusing on an accounting product that will only be a year long commitment. It is going to have a high upfront cost for set up where we make everything amazing. Then we will help you actually change over the year. At the end we will say goodbye and let you walk.

The purpose is to help you change, for you to know the price ahead of time and know when the cost will end. Then be able to experience real help instead of just cursory help over a long period of time.

I have several fears with this idea, but the cool part is a small business can pay us one year see the changes and not feel obligated to stay. I’m hopeful this can also help us to give you more attention and help throughout the year.
