Hello I’m Charles Harris

I’m Charles—owner of Charles Harris CPA and an entrepreneur myself. I love working with small- and medium-sized businesses and find joy in providing the best possible service to help them succeed and grow. I have found that these types of businesses have brilliant ideas but often do not know or understand what their accounting is telling them, and I believe that’s where my skillset can add value to your company and be an asset in helping you achieve your goals. I enjoy unlocking the potential of these companies to expand.

I received my undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and earned my Masters in Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas. I then went on to become a Certified Public Accountant in Texas. I started my career in accounting with BDO USA, LLC in Dallas, Texas, with their tax department working on the financials for high-wealth individuals as well and their privately owned small- and medium-sized companies. I later transitioned to the start-up healthcare concierge Bestow, where I fell in love with working with start-up businesses and learned how to help companies streamline their financial reporting and improve their effectiveness in their reporting.

Taking all of my previous experience, education, and knowledge of the accounting industry, I started my own firm with the goal to help small- and medium-sized companies learn how to implement effective accounting practices, ensure the lowest possible tax rates and fees for their business, and improve their financial literacy.
