Why did the accountant get dehydrated?

Easiest Way to Grow
I am no marketer, in fact, I am probably bad at it. But I am always shocked when I talk with a business owner struggling and they haven’t talked about their business with everyone.
I’m not a huge fan of the Hormozi method of calling everyone in your phone to find your first customer, but there is truth to it. One of the best ways to grow your business is to talk about it with people. You don’t have to sell, just say what you are doing. Then put yourself in situations to talk more about it.
You aren’t going to find clients hiding in your home. Get out, network, and talk to people. It is a lot easier then you think. People want you to succeed.
I met someone recently who, after we talked, posted about it on Facebook, messaged people for me, and just helpful in general. I didn’t ask or beg. But I made some great connections through just talking. After thanking them they said they want me to succeed and that is why they did it.
TODAY’S ACCOUNTING TIP
Hiring your Kids
Do it, but do it smart. They need to be at least 8 years old. Record their hours, give them a reasonable salary, and pay them. The problems are usually people don’t keep the records or pay their child $15k for little to no work performed. An 8 year old is not going to be earning $50/hour filing paperwork. Make it reasonable and this is a great strategy. Just make sure to put it in a Roth account for them.
